Flanders Make’s vision on AI for manufacturing

Flanders Make believes in the value of artifi cial intelligence – strengthened by domain knowledge – to enhance products and production systems with additional decision supporting and/or developing features to make them smarter. However, safety, robustness, reliability, explainability and predictability are very important requirements of any product or production system, and meeting these requirements is a challenging endeavour if we want to implement AI-based solutions.
