Society 5.0 fuses physical and digital worlds

29th January 2026 – ROUNDTABLE: Industry 5.0 in Theory and Practice: What have we learned, and what’s next?

An interactive online roundtable, bringing together leading voices from the EU HORIZON projects AI REDGIO 5.0, BRIDGES 5.0, PROSPECTS 5.0, SEISMEC, SKILLABILITY, and UPSKILL to explore the evolving landscape of Industry 5.0.

To envision the future of the world with a fusion of the physical and digital world, a new constructed society 5.0 was brought by the Japanese Government. It fosters the quality of human life by enhancing it through the use of advanced technologies to solve various social issues and development problems. The modern information society (Society 5.0) is enriched with innovative technological solutions for knowledge creation and data processing. Society5.0 is the fifth evolution in human social status.
