Human–machine symbiosis framework for the future of collaborative manufacturing should consists of human–machine symbiosis (human centrality—the ability to focus on human desire and judgment), social wellness (the ability to detect and respond to human physical and mental performance in order to maximize human wellness) and adaptability (the ability to learn from the environment and change behaviour based on that learning).
