Did you know that while collaborative robotics can significantly boost job creation and retention, they still represent a small portion of the global industrial robot market, accounting for just 7.5%?
Collaborative robotics is transforming human-robot interaction by promoting higher levels of collaboration, which can positively impact job creation, retention, and worker safety. It simplifies technology access for small and medium-sized enterprises by reducing costs and improving working conditions. Workers are more accepting of collaborative robots (cobots) compared to traditional industrial robots, as cobots enhance human capabilities and reduce physical and mental strain. However, despite their rapid growth, cobots remain a niche, representing only 7.5% of the global industrial robot market. Additionally, Europe risks losing its leadership in this field to the Asia-Pacific region.
