It enhances traditional practices like tree marking by adding layers of efficiency and sustainability, creating a comprehensive system, that benefits both the industry and the natural environment. Bridging the gap between the potential of AI-enhanced forest management and the next phase of human– machine collaboration, it’s clear that the journey from traditional practices to advanced, sustainable forestry requires a nuanced approach.
