Industry 5.0 enhances Human-AI Collaboration

29th January 2026 – ROUNDTABLE: Industry 5.0 in Theory and Practice: What have we learned, and what’s next?

An interactive online roundtable, bringing together leading voices from the EU HORIZON projects AI REDGIO 5.0, BRIDGES 5.0, PROSPECTS 5.0, SEISMEC, SKILLABILITY, and UPSKILL to explore the evolving landscape of Industry 5.0.

Industry 5.0 (current and ongoing) focuses on the collaboration between humans and AI by placing humans at the centre of the decision-making process. It follows the human-centred AI approach, which augments human capabilities instead of replacing humans. The role of a human-in-the-loop is to guarantee that decision-making integrates the goals, understanding, creative capacities and common sense of humans.
